Calling themselves the grand children of jangle pop, Hidden Profiles formed in 2016 in Malmö, Sweden. The four members had been playing together for a couple of years before that in various constellations when they decided to ditch everything else and focus on a more guitar driven pop sound.

They released their first single Salty Seas in January 2017, which they referred to as
“a nod to the Swedish indie pop scene of the nineties”.

The band is currently doing live shows and recording songs for their first album in the Great Melt Studios.
